The second phase of the Green Cyclist Ring in Madrid, a stretch of 15.3 kilometres for cyclists and pedestrians, has already begun. By the end of 2005 cyclists will be able to enjoy a 33 kilometre-long circuit once the second phase is over. It will link the city from north to south.
The second phase will connect different infrastructures including the Olympic Stadium, the Aquatic Centre, the Magic Box, the Exhibition Centre and the Rockodroma.
Once the third phase is over new Olympic infrastructures, such as the Zarzuela’s Racetrack or the Club de Camp Villa de Madrid, will be connected.
