The House of Representatives has endorsed Madrid’s bid for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, saying that the organization of Olympic Games is “an event of first level, not only for the city of Madrid, but that it will have very positive effects for the rest of the country”.
The declaration includes the commitment to “contribute to the attainment of the definitive nomination and later, to the most complete success in the accomplishment of these Games”.
