Madrid has announced that it plans to build two structures, at a cost of 100 million euros, to be completed by 2006 that will be used in its bid for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
The buildings, 120 x 120 square metres, would house six sports including badminton, fencing, weightlifting, judo, taekwondo and table tennis and may also by the centre of communications and “monitoring” of the Olympic Games.
