Should Madrid win the bid to host the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, the basketball competition, with the exception of the finals, will be held at the Rockódromo de la Casa de Camp, a building that will accommodate 11,000 spectators.
When the sports venue is completed in June of 2004 it will be the largest multiple-use facility the city has ever had.
