London 2012 is holding an event in Trafalgar Square to mark its 2012 bid victory and kick off a multi-million pound campaign to boost the city’s economic recovery.
The September 1 event will also start the Everyone’s London campaign – a series of public events and promotions encouraging Londoners to enjoy the best the city has to offer.
According to the London 2012 Web site, special promotions will include discounts for the British Airways London Eye, the London Zoo, musicals and restaurants.
Also there will be a special offers section on the London 2012 Web site, which is updated daily, including discounted hotel rooms and theatre tickets, as well as kids-go-free deals and 2-for-1 deals at many attractions.
