London 2012 To Promote Bid Internationally

London 2012’s chief executive Keith Mills outlined plans for London’s bid for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games Monday and said that the bid committee is working on the international marketing of the bid aimed at voting members of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and those who influence them.

London 2012 is sending a team to the Athens 2004 Games to see what lessons can be learned for its own bid.

The bid team re-iterated its commitment to staging a “green” Olympic and Paralympic Games by publishing its Environment and Sustainability Policy.

There are more than 60 people working on technical aspects of the plan.
