London’s bid committee has appointed Syzygy and the advertisement agency M&C Saatchi to design, build and promote London’s 2012 Web site.
The first phase of the new Web site will go live on January 16, with news updates and information about the bid followed by interactive elements later on.
And if London becomes the 2012 host, one of Glasgow Scotland’s major stadiums could be used for football.
Hampden stadium is likely the chosen stadium, although the London bid team has been in contact with Rangers and Celtic.
Barbara Cassani, chairwoman of London 2012, visited Glasgow last October and has revealed a successful bid would boost Scotland’s economy by millions with training camps and pre-Olympic events likely being held there.
