London 2012 has launched a Web site to generate awareness and support for its 2012 Summer Olympic Games bid.
Visitors to the site, which was launched this week, can click through to a micro site to sign their names on a virtual flag and forward it to a friend.
Banner advertising will promote the micro site on London 2012’s network of partner sites and the site will be advertised through a newsletter.
David Magliano, marketing director of London 2012 said, “the IOC will give the Games to the city that wants it the most, so public support really makes a difference”.
