The BBC reports that London’s bid for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games was 680,000 pounds.
Britain’s Culture Secretary Tessa Jowell said about 530,000 pounds was spent on presentations, hiring venue space and technical support.
Another 150,000 pounds was spent on preparations for the visit.
