Leipzig’s municipal development committee will be introducing plans to revitalize areas of the city in its bid for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games through four forums.
The Leipzig 2012 Olympic plan includes the Olympic Park, Olympic Village and the media centre.
According to the plan there will be workshops, technical competitions, appraisals and feasibility studies to take place during the bid process.
The city will use the expertise from nationally and internationally known city council planners, architects and landscape designers in its Olympic plan.
The first forum takes place on February 20 in Leipzig’s Congress Centre.
