Following an agreement signed between Leipzig 2012 and Leipzig’s Fairground, a 9 x 15 metre Olympic banner has been erected on the tower of Leipzig’s fairground and is easily visible from the city’s freeway.
The fairground is yet another supporter of Leipzig’s bid for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
Under the agreement committee’s for Leipzig’s 2012 bid will be able to meet in the facility free of charge.
