Sixty journalists from 41 major Chinese media organizations began four-day news coverage of the preparations for the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games at BOCOG headquarters Tuesday, and were briefed by Jiang Xiaoyu, executive vice president of the Beijing Organizing Committee.
The BOCOG Media and Communications Department organized the media event. The news coverage will cover in depth the Games theme slogan – One World, One Dream – and the concepts of Green Olympics, High-tech Olympics and People’s Olympics, to boost the Chinese audience’s awareness of Olympic preparations and their support for the Games.
