Marcelino Iglesias, the president of Aragon, said that the Council of Government will approve a Jaca 2014 Winter Olympic bid on September 3.
Javier Callizo, cultural adviser and president of the Jaca 2014 foundation, said that now that he knows the deficiencies of Jaca’s bid, the group will “begin to look for solutions” regarding lodgings and infrastructure for a Jaca 2014 bid.
Iglesias told the Europe Press “those problems with the necessities of lodgings and infrastructures must be solved in 10 or 12 years. We are conscious of the difficulties that there are to surpass, but will be able to organize Games”.
Pedro Perez, Jaca’s urban councilman said the general budget for the Games would be increased.
