Turin 2006 now has another official sponsor, which it hopes will bring a “slice of spring” to the Turin 2006 Winter Olympic Games.
A sponsorship agreement has been signed with the Lake Maggiore Flower Consortium making it an official supplier of camellias, azaleas, rhododendrons, laurels and pieris.
According to the Turin 2006 official Web site there will be more than 16,000 flower bouquets, and about 2,500 will be awarded to the best competitors.
