The International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) Coordination Commission will be in Turin this week for the ninth inspection of preparations for the Turin 2006 Winter Olympic Games.
The first inspection day the IOC will tour the venues in the city and mountains. Two days will be spent meeting with the Turin 2006 Organizing Committee.
During the two-day meetings the commission will work with TOROC on key operational issues, including overlay, volunteers, venuisation, transport, waste and cleaning, medals plaza and security.
