The International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced Wednesday it has received the Candidature Files of the three cities bidding to host the 2014 Winter Olympic Games – Sochi, Salzburg and PyeongChang – ahead of the midnight deadline.
The IOC Evaluation Commission will analyze the Candidature Files and make site inspections of the three cities.
The commission will visit PyeongChang February 14-17, Sochi February 20 to 23 and Salzburg March 14 to 17.
According to the IOC the commission will then prepare a report to be published and submitted to IOC members before the election of the 2014 Winter Games host city on July 4, 2007 during the 119th IOC Session in Guatemala City.
