The International Olympic Committee (IOC) said Friday it was pleased with the progress made by North and South Korea on plans to have a joint team for the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games.
The IOC released a statement saying, “The International Olympic Committee (IOC) is delighted to learn from the Olympic Committee of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the Korean Olympic Committee that they have held productive discussions on the creation of a joint team for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
