On August 28 and 29, 2000, the IOC will be holding an Executive Board in Lausanne Switzerland where the main topic of discussion will be the selection of candidate cities for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad in 2008.
The IOC has announced that there will be a press briefing on Monday, August 28 at 18h30 (local time) and a Press Conference on Tuesday, August 29 at 12h30. The candidate city announcement will likely occur at the latter event at 6:30am EDT.
