The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has submitted all the required documents in making a formal bid for the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
In a letter to Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) President Michael Fennel, IOA head Suresh Kalmadi said that the Government of India and the city of Delhi have agreed to cooperate with the CGF and the IOA to establish and comply with the joint marketing program as laid down in the guide lines and more specifically in the Host City Contract.
The bid is fully backed by the Government of India.
