Greek sprinters Kostas Kenteris and Katerina Thanou will know in mid October if they can return to competition following a hearing of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) October 14 and 15.
Although the two were acquitted of doping offences by an independent Greek tribunal in March, the IAAF appealed the verdict and the CAS will now make a final decision.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) had demanded that the IAAF investigate the case that led to the hearing of the Greek tribunal.
