It was bad enough when members of the International Olympic Committee’s technical team got stuck in a hotel elevator during their tour of Toronto, arriving about 1-1/2 hours late for a press conference.
But now there are reports that three of the teams’ members were accidentally left at Charles de Gaulle airport on their arrival Sunday evening.
“At least we always knew where they were”, said one member of TO-2008.
At least they won’t have to worry about any other mishaps. The evaluation commission ends its technical tour of the five 2008 bid cities on Thursday.
