Government Spokesman Said Greece Was Only Judging “60 Minutes” report

Referring to a report on the CBS program “60 Minutes” Sunday, Greek government spokesman Tilemachos Hytiris said that the Greek government was not asking anything of the United States but simply judging the quality of CBS’ work.

The Athens-based Olympian Press Agency (OPA) said that Hytiris noted statements by U.S. Ambassador in Athens, Thomas Miller, who said the controversial episode of the program did not reflect the views of the American government.

A segment on “60 Minutes” criticized Athens for its inability to eradicate the “November 17” terrorist group.
