International magazine Next Level, dedicated to “art, photography and ideas”, has chosen Glasgow as its theme. Glasgow, the Scottish Government, and Glasgow’s bid committee for the 2014 Commonwealth Games have supported the Glasgow issue of Next Level.
The magazine will be taken to Sri Lanka where the 2014 Commonwealth Games city will be chosen. Nov. 9. Abuja and Glasgow are competing for the right to host the Games.
The magazine dedicates each issue to one subject and is published twice a year.
Glasgow Councillor Seven Purcell, chair of the Glasgow City Marketing Bureau and leader of Glasgow City Council said, “the Glasgow dedicated issue of Next Level magazine makes a bold statement that Glasgow is an inspiring place with networks that make creative endeavour at the highest level not only possible but probable. It also serves to reinforce that Glasgow is an exciting and energizing place to live, work, study, invest and visit”.
