German Evaluation Team To Inspect Sailing Venues

Beginning Monday November 18, the German Olympic Committee’s evaluation commission will be inspecting the sailing venues of the five cities bidding to become the German candidate for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. The German Olympic Committee’s vice-president, Count Landsberg-Velen, leads the commission.

The group will inspect the existing infrastructure as well as the technical aspects of the Olympic sailing competitions.

Following the inspections the group will compile a report to be sent to all the German Olympic Committee members.

Dates and locations of the inspections are Cuxhaven on November 18, Kiel on November 19, Luebeck to be evaluated on November 20, Rostock on November 21, and Stralsund on November 22.
