Generations For Peace Expands To U.S.

HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee and founder of Generations For Peace, announced at SportAccord in Dubai that it will launch the Generations For Peace Institute this fall in partnership with Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and The Generations For Peace Institute will open later this year in Amman, Jordan.

The institute will provide three prestigious annual academic awards for the Conflict Resolution Programme in the Department of Government, said a press release. They are the King Abdullah II of Jordan Generations for Peace Research Fellowship, HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Generations For Peace Scholarship for Graduate Studies, and twos Generations For Peace summer field research awards to MA candidates.

HRH Prince Feisal said, “there are very exciting times for Generations For Peace. The Institute will inspire high level applied research in sport as a peace building and development tool.

“We are also looking forward to working with Georgetown University whose international relations programs are extremely highly regarded. The university also has a tradition of conducting innovative research to address critical conflicts around the world as well as a strong commitment to Peace, social justice and ethics”.

Generations For Peace is also breaking new ground later this year on its sixth international camp for European participants in Amman later this year.
