French director Luc Besson is planning a promotional film backing Paris’ bid to host the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
The Associated Press reports the film will be shown to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in Singapore July 6 when the IOC votes to elect the host city for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
Arnaud Lagardere, head of a group of French businesses backing the Paris 2012 bid said in an interview in a trade magazine the film “will present and showcase Paris’ candidacy”.
He added, “there are spectacular images and interviews with people committed to this project. These will be the last images that the members of the IOC will see before they vote and choose the host city”.
