According to the fifth Internet poll on Frankfurt’s bid to become the German candidate for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, 43 per cent of respondents said that the airport, traffic and the fact that people from more than people from 180 countries live in the region, are the reasons why Frankfurt should be awarded the 2012 Summer Games.
Twenty Six per cent of respondents cited cultural reasons why the region should host the 2012 Games.
