The Times reports that Salzburg has appointed Mike Lee, London 2012’s former Director of Communications and Public Affairs, to join its bid for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.
Lee left his post at London 2012 Wednesday.
Salzburg faces strong opposition from PyeongChang South Korea, reports the newspaper.
There are seven cities bidding to host the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.
