Representatives of the five cities bidding for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games – Madrid, Paris, London, Moscow and New York – are attending the 68th International Sports Press Association (AIPS) congress in Marrakech Morocco taking place May 11-15.
A record 300 journalists are taking part.
Representatives from the Turin 2006 Winter Games and the Beijing 2008 Summer Games are also there.
The AIPS brings together 143 member countries as the only worldwide organization of the international sports media. It is a non-profit organization that represents the interest of thousands of sports journalists all over the world.
