Channel News reports that at least 80 companies have pledged their support for Singapore’s 2010 Youth Olympic Games bid.
Some of the companies will carry the bid campaign logo on their packaging and in their premises. Others will sell specially designed T-shirts and merchandise.
The Singapore 2014 Bid Committee hopes to get more companies involved in their campaign. Teo Ser Luck, Parliamentary Secretary, Community Development, Youth and Sports Ministry said, “I hope more local companies, small and medium-sized enterprises, to take this opportunity to build their brand, business and exposure, because this bid and the (Youth Olympic) Games offer worldwide exposure”.
