Doping Centre For Athens 2004 Games
ATHOC president Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki and Deputy Minister of Sport George Florides have signed a memorandum of understanding to set up an Olympic Doping Control Centre, costing $3.7 million (U.S.), to be covered by the Greek government and Athens 2004 organizers.
The Doping Control Centre will conduct 4,200 urine and blood tests – 3,500 during the Olympic Games and 650 during the Paralympics.
