A five member delegation of the CDU-CSU Bundestagsfraktion (Christian Democratic Union/Christian Social Union – Bundestag parliamentary group) visited Frankfurt where it was given an overview of Frankfurt 2012, one of the five cities bidding to become the German candidate for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
The delegation was shown Frankfurt’s plans for the various sports venues and the Olympic Village. A report says the group seemed impressed by the compactness of Frankfurt’s sports’ venues.
The other four German bid cities will also be visited.
