Dailmer Chrysler Corp. has extended its contract with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) until 2012.
A new agreement was signed by IOC President Jacques Rogge, IOC Vice President Thomas Bach, and Michael J. Inacker of Daimler Chrysler. The company has been a sponsor of the IOC since 1988.
Rogge said the IOC was very happy with the proven collaboration. He added that it was more than a sponsorship for the IOC, it was actually a strategic partnership and a close relationship.
