Eighteen major companies have joined the Paris 2012 Corporate Club to support Paris’ bid for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. They provide financing, support and technical know-how which will benefit Paris’ 2012 bid.
The Paris 2012 Corporate Club enables any French firm to support Paris’ 2012 bid. To date more than 700 French firms have joined the Corporate Club. Corporate Club members have the shared goal of helping to bring the Olympic Games to France and realize the potential social and economic benefits associated with hosting the Games, says a Paris 2012 media release.
Friday night in La Rochelle, Paris’ Mayor Bertrand Delanoe, who is also President of Paris 2012, and Philippe Baudillon, Paris 2012 CEO, will attend a meeting of the Corporate Club to personally thank the heads of the 700 local firms for their support.
