This is the first step and it is already in place. Secondly Sofia is the only capital city involved in the 2014 bid. The Games will benefit from the significantly higher level of infrastructure and services that only a national capital city can provide ad can be assured of the support of a national government. Thirdly, our mountain resorts of Borovetz and Bansko are the primary areas for tourism investment and development in this country. The infrastructure, accommodation and other services available there are of a world class standard”.
