The Commonwealth Games Federation evaluation commission arrived Monday morning in Abuja to inspect the city’s bid for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
According to Abuja 2014’s itinerary the commission will visit the National Sports Commission before attending a press conference at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel later Monday, and a dinner at the hotel hosted by the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC).
Tuesday the team will pay a courtesy call on officials of the Federal Capital Territory Administration and will meet with officials of the Abuja 2014 bid committee.
AllAfrica.com reports that on day four the delegation, in conjunction with Abuja 2014 officials, will hold a joint media briefing at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in the morning and will be hosted to a dinner by the Abuja 2014 bid committee at the hotel before it departs Nigeria the following day.
