He Zhenliang, an executive member of the International Olympic Committee, was interviewed by the Xinhua News Agency in Beijing recently on the five candidate cities’ bid presentations held in Lausanne Switzerland.
Although he said Beijing will give the world an exciting Olympic Games, and according to the international media Beijing is the frontruner in the bid race, it cannot say Beijing will be the winner at last. “Just like in the running race, the first one at the beginning may be left behind at the end” said He.
He hopes Beijing will go on working hard until the final outcome. He said Beijing’s delegation is a young team and called its presentation satisfactory.
