The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s (CBC) website has pulled some audio items from the streamed Internet versions of two radio programs during the Olympic Games.
According to a CBC spokesperson, it got a “friendly reminder” from NBC that under contractual agreements with the International Olympic Committee, broadcasters agreed not to post moving footage, audio or interviews from Olympic venues on the Internet.
The CBC has also removed the CBC Newsworld service from its website for the duration of the Olympics.
