The Globe and Mail reports that negotiations for Canadian television rights to the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games and the 2012 Summer Olympic Games will begin in January or early February.
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), the incumbent rights holder, will bid for the Games while Canada’s two other main networks, CTV and Global, are expected to bow out.
