The Bulgarian Press Agency Novinite reports that Sofia’s Appellate Court released John Kim Wednesday, after charges against him in the United States were thrown out in mid trial because of lack of evidence. Kim is the son of International Olympic Committee (IOC) Vice President Kim un-Yong.
The court overthrew the October 10 decision of Sofia City Court which ruled that Kim should be extradited to the United States.
