The Internet bookmaker Intertops.com, located in St. John’s, Antigua has listed odds for the 2010 and 2012 Olympic Games bids and Salzburg is listed as the 2 to 1 favorite to win the 2010 Olympic bid.
For 2010, Vancouver follows closely at 9 to 4 while PyeongChang trails at 4 to 1.
Meanwhile Centrebet, based in Australia, has a different opinion. For 2010 they’ve listed Vancouver as favorite at 11 to 5 and Salzburg at 9 to 4. PyeongChang follows at 4 to 1.
BidIndex from GamesBids.com has given Salzburg a slightly higher rating than Vancouver with an index of 66.82. Vancouver has 65.31 and PyeongChang trails with 60.05.
Despite the fact that the 2012 race has not begun and the competitors list is not complete, Intertops.com has assigned odds.
London is the favorite at 3 to 1, then Paris at 7 to 2 followed by Toronto, who has yet to enter the race, at 5 to 1. New York is 7 to 1, Madrid 10 to 1, Leipzig 13 to 1, Rio 16 to 1, Moscow and Sao Paulo are 21 to 1 and Havana trails at 101 to 1.
