Beijing 2008 is to launch the Games Supplier’s Program December 12. It’s the third tier of the Beijing 2008 Sponsorship Program.
According to the Beijing 2008 Web site the Sponsorship Program consists of three tiers of support – the Partner, the Sponsor and the Supplier. The solicitation for partners is now over. There are ten Chinese and foreign enterprises becoming partners of the Beijing 2008 Supper Olympics Games – the Bank of China, China Netcom, SINOCPAC, CNPC, China Mobile, Volkswagen Group (China), Adidas, Johnson & Johnson, Air China and PICC P&C.
There are now six companies that have signed agreements with Beijing 2008 organizers to become sponsors. They are UPS, Haier Group, SOHU, Yili Group, Tsingtao Beer and Yanjing Beer.
Beijing 2008 Suppliers Program is divided into exclusive and co-exclusive suppliers. Details of the program will be announced at a press conference December 12.
