Beijing’s 2008 Olympic Bid Committee is holding an International Olympic Design Conference in July, which will mark the start of the Beijing 2008 logo competition.
The congress plans to invite officials from the International Olympic Committee and experts from the Sydney, Salt Lake and Athens Olympics, as well as historians of the Olympic movement, to share their expertise.
Also invited are the best designers from China and around the world, including graphic designers, representatives from designing firms and societies, colleges, experts in social sciences, IOC sponsors and representatives from public relations firms, as well as the media.
More than 500 people are expected to participate in the conference.
