Architects worldwide are invited to participate in designing the landscape of Beijing 2008’s Olympic Green, said the Beijing Urban Planning Commission Tuesday.
The designs for the Forest Park and central part of the Olympic Green should embody the Beijing 2008 Games theme of “Green Games, High-tech Games and People’s Games”.
Experienced architects, individual or in a consortium, are invited to participate in the competition to be judged by eight qualified designers, between July 22 to August 1, 2003.
The Olympic Green is the core of the 2008 Games and covers an area of 1135 hectares in the north of the city.
