According to GFK, a market research company, in the past 12 months more citizens approve Germany’s bid for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. According to a poll held in the five bid cities, almost ninety per cent of respondents favoured a bid compared to an earlier poll last March when 85.3 per cent said they approved of a bid.
The company questioned 5,515 people over the age of 14 in the five regions bidding to become the German candidate for the 2012 Games.
