Delegations from the three cities bidding for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games – Sochi, Salzburg and PyeongChang – along with a seven-member delegation from China, host of the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympic Games, are in Pago Pago, American Samoa where they were to present bid proposals Friday to the Oceania National Olympic Committee.
According to the schedule Sochi was to present its bid first, followed by Salzburg and then PyeongChang.
None of the bid details had been released and officials representing each city declined to discuss their bids in advance.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) will be selecting the host city on July 4 in Guatemala City.
