The 2014 bid leaders will have the opportunity to talk with senior sports officials promoting their respective bids.
Before leaving for the convention Han Seung-soo, Chairman of the PyeongChang 2014 bid committee said, “we very much look forward to the opportunity to discuss PyeongChang’s bid with such a large distinguished audience from the Olympic Movement in Beijing. SportAccord promises to be an excellent event and the fact that it has completely sold out demonstrates the growing significance of the sports industry in Asia. Should PyeongChang be awarded the opportunity to host the Olympic Winter Games in 2014 it will serve as a chance to highlight the immense potential and interest in winter sports in Asia”.
Madrid is bidding for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games and Madrid 2016’s CEO, Mercedes Coghen, will be leading the Spanish Olympic bid’s delegation to the convention.
