Squash Launches Bid For Inclusion In 2016 Olympics

Squash is launching a bid for inclusion on the 2016 Olympic program, during the 2008 Hi-Tec World Championships taking place in Manchester October 11 to 19.

Jahangir Khan, President of the World Squash Federation, will outline squash’s bid and credentials for consideration in the 2016 Olympic Summer Games.

For the first time the men’s and women’s matches will run together in Great Britain. Several elite level players will be at the event to support squash’s bid.
