Two-thousand guests will gather simultaneously in Seoul and PyeongChang in South Korea Friday to celebrate the new emblem unveiling for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games. Along with a video theme that will be screened for the first time at the event, the emblem will help define the branding and the look of the Games.
In attendance from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) will be Coordination Commission Chair Gunilla Lindberg along with PyeongChang 2018 Organizing Committee (POCOG) President Jin-Sun Kim and Korean Olympic Committee President Jung-Haeng Kim. South Korean President Geun-hye Park is scheduled to send a congratulatory message during the ceremonies.
The event is scheduled to commence at 3:00pm local time in Korea and will be broadcast over the Internet by Ustream and available here live on GamesBids.com; visit for details at event-time or follow @gamesbids on Twitter for further updates.
