Sports Illustrated reports that a leading Vancouver ticket broker says people who can’t get tickets for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games shouldn’t worry.
According to Mario Livich of ShowTime tickets, they will be for sale soon despite a vow by Vancouver 2010 organizers to “squelch” the scalper market.
Livich says only a fraction of the tickets for high-demand events are being sold to the public and that means a brisk resale market is inevitable.
Sports Illustrated reports Livich will begin selling Olympic tickets later this fall and expects to do more business than ever before.
The first phase of official ticket sales begins October 3.
